City manager Graham Alexander and right-wing-back Brad Halliday have been nominated for the respective April Sky Bet League Two Manager and Player of the Month awards.
The Bantams contested six matches throughout the final month of the campaign, dropping just two points - at Grimsby on the first day of April - and winning their final five games of the season.
During this period, Halliday, who was also named in the Sky Bet League Two Team of the Season before scooping six awards at City's End of Season Dinner, scored winning goals against Gillingham and Salford City, with a pinpoint cross registering an assist for Calum Kavanagh against Newport County, alongside a number of eye-catching defensive performances.
Alexander is up against Stockport County's Dave Challinor, Doncaster Rovers boss Grant McCann and Phil Parkinson of Wrexham, while Halliday will look to get the better of Stockport's Paddy Madden, Wrexham striker Paul Mullin and Harrogate Town's George Thomson.
The judging panel for the Manager of the Month award comprises former Barnsley boss Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert and former City forward Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies, with the latter two joined by EFL chief executive Trevor Birch on the panel for the Player of the Month award.
The winners will be revealed this Friday (May 3).
