CLUB STATEMENT: CROWD DISORDER

22 December 2023

Bradford City AFC would like to take this opportunity to reiterate its stance on crowd disorder, following incidents at last night's game against Doncaster Rovers.

A total of five pyrotechnic devices were deployed from the away end at the Eco-Power Stadium, with one travelling supporter ejected for attempting to enter the field.

This caused significant delays in play and will prompt another FA investigation, with the club expected to again suffer financial penalties after several similar instances last season.

We are working closely with Doncaster Rovers to identify those responsible for disorder last night, and intend to take the strongest-possible action against individuals involved.

Not only do pyrotechnics put the safety of those using them and their fellow supporters at risk, they are also strictly forbidden, as is attempting to enter the playing surface without permission.

The club retains a zero-tolerance policy towards crowd disorder of any kind, and reminds supporters that the strongest-possible action will be taken against those found guilty.

Anyone with any information on who might be responsible for last night's disorder is asked to contact the club by e-mailing hello@bradfordcityafc.com
