Graham Alexander has called for consistency from his side, wanting the Bantams to maintain their positive form heading into Saturday's trip to Walsall.
City have three games remaining for the season, and following four games unbeaten, Alexander is looking for standards not to drop as he aims to end the campaign as strong as possible.
“We just need to be consistent, that is what we are aspiring to be,” he said at yesterday's pre-match press conference.
“We know what this team is capable of, I have been really pleased with the players over the last four games.
“It has been frustrating this season that we have not been able keep our good periods for longer, not being able to extend unbeaten runs we have had.
“We want to show how good of a team we are, and show the spirit we have in this squad going forward.
“It has been great to see the players getting their rewards - I have been really pleased with the team's performances in recent games.”
The Bantams boss has been encouraged by how his squad responded in their four-game unbeaten run to setbacks, claiming four of their 10 points in the last four games from losing positions.
He is looking ahead to his side's visit to the Poundland Bescot Stadium on Saturday afternoon, as he wants to end the season on a high, starting with City’s penultimate away fixture.
“Not everything goes your way - problems will happen, it is about how you respond,” Alexander added.
“Sometimes negative things happen in games, and they become bigger than what they are, and how we have reacted, I am happy with the squad.
“Things have gone against us and we have learnt about the character of the side, coming away with 10 points over the last four games.
“At this stage of the season, clubs may be in the position of it is all or nothing with their position in the table.
“Their motivations do not concern us, we want to go there and prove ourselves right in how we want to play.
“We have to stay motivated and hopefully keep our good run up. That is my focus.”
